Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone is a new global business address at the heart of Abu Dhabi Airports operations.
Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone is a wholly owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Airports. It operates Airports' Free Zones, a Logistics Park, Business Parks, Business Centers and One Stop Shop Services. These underpin Abu Dhabi’s plans to establish itself as a dynamic business center in support of the Abu Dhabi 2030 Economic Vision.
Under a resolution passed by the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone was mandated to set up Free Zones and provide all the required services at:
- Abu Dhabi International Airport
- Al Ain International Airport
- Al Bateen Executive Jet Airport
Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone’s jurisdiction spreads across more than 10.6 Km2 around Abu Dhabi International Airport, covering five commercial districts:

Free Zone Rules & Regulations
In 2010, the Abu Dhabi Executive Council declared Abu Dhabi International, Al Ain International and Al Bateen Executive Jet Airports as free zone areas. The free Zones at these airports were established to encourage both local and international businesses to base themselves in a thriving international “aerotropolis”.

Types of Legal Entities
The type of license that will be issued to an applicant company will be defined by its activity.

- Free Zone Limited Liability Company FZ-LLC (Corporate)
- Free Zone Limited Liability Company FZ-LLC (Natural)
- Branch of a local or foreign company
